Toshiba Medical Systems - European distribution agreement

Schwarzer Cardiotek GmbH (SCT) and Toshiba Medical Systems (TMS) have agreed to make TMS a non-exclusive distribution partner for European (including Eastern European markets) on the SCT range of hemodynamic solutions as from October 2017. The distribution agreement grants TMS the option to market and sell the SCT hemodynamic solutions to their customers as part of a commercial cath lab package. Frank-P. Klein (CEO of SCT) commented: "We are very excited about the cooperation with Toshiba Medical Systems and the combined offering of their X-ray Systems and our evo series of hemodynamic solutions. In combination both systems complete the setup of a cath lab, therefore it appears natural to co-market the systems as an integrated solution. This is a clear demonstreation of confidence in the ability of Schwarzer Cardiotek to act as a partner for the important European markets, despite our relatively small size, as compared with the global healthcare giants like Toshiba Medical Systems and Canon Healthcare (which Toshiba Medical Systems will be part of in a near future). We are delighted that this new partnership will generate market share growth and broader distribution of the evo series in 2018 and beyond".
