Hemodynamic measurement stations update Munich Municipal Hospitals

Philips and Munich Municipal Hospitals have agreed to renew 200 diagnostic systems within an innovation partnership. In a joint press release the project volume is amounted to 50 million euros. In total the city of Munich and the state of Bavaria invest over 750 million euros in the hospital group. Schwarzer Cardiotek will install measurement stations at four sites in nine catheter labs.

Schwarzer Cardiotek’s hemodynamic monitoring systems measure blood pressure, cardiac output and all relevant vital parameters. They contribute to a modern and efficient clinic group as examinations and therapies within the invasive cardiology are a key element of the economic performance.

The latest technical innovation of Schwarzer Cardiotek in the sector of hemodynamics is evolution. The evolution system will be installed from next year on and will fulfill the clinic group’s wish of digitalization and advanced technical equipment. The new system incorporates a streamlined amplifier with vital sign measurement, a server-room suitable PC to free up floor space in the control room, and the Smart Keyboard, which represents a paradigm shift in user interface design. Evolution will perfectly fit in a future lab environment with its intuitive control elements and a lean measurement system.
