Medtronic and Schwarzer Cardiotek announce distribution agreement
Schwarzer Cardiotek’s EP-TRACER 2 to expand Medtronic’s product offering in atrial fibrillation (afib)
Schwarzer Cardiotek GmbH announced today that it has signed a distribution agreement with Medtronic International Trading Sàrl for the sale and distribution of its innovative electrophysiology platform EP-TRACER 2 in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
The non-exclusive distribution agreement will enable Medtronic to market EP-TRACER 2 alongside with its successful product portfolio as a complete diagnosis-to-therapy-solution for the electrophysiology lab.
EP-TRACER 2 offers several software features, uniquely designed to improve cryo-ablation procedures.
“The EP-TRACER’s ability to display the cryo-curve in real-time, together with the visualization of the response of phrenic nerve pacing greatly improves comfort and safety during my cryo-ablation procedures”, says Prof Dr Carlo de Asmundis at Universitair Ziekenhuis Brussel, Belgium.
